Coming in at number 18 on the list is the midweek starter for Wake Forest, redshirt junior Reed Mascolo. Mascolo appeared in 14 games for the Deacs (11 of which he started), posting a 3.96 ERA in 50 innings of work. He boasted an impressive 7-1 record with 44 strikeouts compared to 12 walks. Opponents hit .255 off him. His best outing came against Elon on March 21st, when he pitched five innings of one hit ball. Mascolo provided quality starts in most of his appearances. At any other school, Reed is probably the number three option. At Wake, however, he took up most of the midweek innings.

Reed Mascolo started his career at Wake Forest University in 2020. He's held down the title of midweek starter for most of his three years. He's 12-3 with a 4.49 lifetime ERA in 122.1 innings pitched. He's averaged over a strike out an inning during his career as well. Due to his consistency and stability as the midweek, many surrounding Wake Forest baseball deemed him "Mr. Midweek."
